Tesla's father, Milutin, was an Orthodox priest inside the village of Smiljan. Tesla later on wrote that he grew to become enthusiastic about demonstrations of electric power by his physics professor.[b] Tesla observed that these demonstrations of the "mysterious phenomena" built him want "to grasp extra of the excellent drive".
Tesla disagreed with the theory of atoms being composed of smaller subatomic particles, stating there this site was no this kind of factor as an electron making an electric charge. He believed that if electrons existed at all, they were some fourth state of matter or "sub-atom" that could exist only within an experimental vacuum and which they experienced almost nothing to try and do with electric power.
